Why a hotel reference would stop at four kinds of hotel.

The idea

Most hotel listings sort by city, then by price. Ayestyfeel sorts by premise. A hotel built around art, one built around a very small bed, one built around a casino and one built from ice each test a different idea of what a night away can be, and that difference is what this site tries to describe.

The list is deliberately small. Eleven hotels is enough to show the range of each idea without turning into a directory.

The rules we keep

Nobody pays to appear here, and no hotel reviews its own entry before publication. There are no prices, scores or star ratings, because those go stale quickly and are better checked at the source. Descriptions stay general: the building, its surroundings, and the reason it was filed where it was.

Casino hotels get the same treatment as the rest. Each is written up as a place to sleep, eat and see a show, with gaming mentioned as one part of the property.
